Overview
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your lbreeze account by requiring a second step when logging in. This helps protect your billing and service management from unauthorized access.
Enabling 2FA
- Log in to the lbreeze Client Area.
- Go to Account → Security Settings or Two-Factor Authentication.
- Click Enable 2FA.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, typically involving scanning a QR code with an authenticator app or receiving codes via another method (email).
- Confirm by entering a verification code from your chosen method.
Using 2FA when logging in
After 2FA is enabled, you will be prompted for a one-time code each time you log in. Enter the code from your authenticator app or chosen method to complete the login process.
Recovery options
During setup, you may receive backup codes or recovery options. Store these securely in case you lose access to your primary 2FA device. If you cannot access your account, contact support for assistance with verification and recovery.
