1.254.16
28 October 2026Added
- See what a PHP site is doing right now. A new card on every PHP site's Overview shows each PHP worker, how long it has been running and what it is waiting on - a database, the site's own address, or another server - with the page each request is for when the server can say. It answers even when every worker is stuck. A second button checks whether the site can reach its own address, which cache purges and many plugins need.
- See what a database is running right now, on MariaDB and PostgreSQL. Each session and how long its statement has been running, seen only as the database's own user, with the values in every statement hidden.
- A connected coding agent can see the same. Three new tools for an agent connected from a site's Studio tab: what PHP is doing, whether the site reaches its own address, and what its database is running.
Changed
- A PHP request stuck on something outside PHP is ended after five minutes. A request waiting on a server that never answers used to hold its PHP worker for ever, and a few of them could stop a whole site.
Fixed
- You are no longer signed out by a passing hiccup. When the panel briefly could not reach its API - during an update, for example - it signed you out even though your session was still valid. It now checks the session first, keeps it when it is still good, and takes you back to the page you were on.
- One site's broken application no longer marks its whole web server as down. A single site answering with an error made the server's web role read as not serving, and paged as such. That site is now reported on its own, and the web server is down only when it really is.
- No false alarm about a changed platform file after a staging copy. Copying a site into its staging copy could report that a file the platform owns had been changed on the server. It was the platform's own placeholder page being replaced by the copied site.
- The Security page shows Standby's posture score, and opens quickly. The score Standby provides was never shown, the card asked you to pair Standby while it was paired, and the page waited on Standby on every visit when Standby was slow to answer. Standby is now also named by its own address.
- Pushing a new site live from staging removes the placeholder page. When you build a new site on a staging copy and push it live, the platform's "site ready" placeholder on the live site is now taken away so visitors see your site. Only the platform's own page is ever removed; the preview tells you before it happens.
Security
- A failed Zephyr install no longer repeats the passwords it was given. The same protection added for other applications in v1.254.14: passwords and secret settings are blanked out of every install error.
