Zephyr
Your website, your shop, your invoices and your support desk in one install, on a server you control — with no fee per staff member and no cut of your sales. For a hosting company, a paid invoice becomes a working account, and a missed one suspends it.
Run the business side from one place
Website, shop, billing, finance, marketing and support desk in one install that you run. No fee per staff member, no cut of your sales.
- Sell online. Pages, blog and a help centre you edit yourself, and a shop for one-off products, subscriptions and software licences.
- Get paid. Invoices, VAT and renewals handled for you, by card, PayPal or Mollie, with the books kept behind them.
- Look after customers. A support desk, live chat and a customer portal where they find their invoices, services and licences.
- For hosting companies. A paid invoice sets the customer’s account up in KStack, cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin, and a missed one suspends it, with nobody typing anything in.
How Zephyr is built
Three web apps your customers and staff use, one API behind them, a worker for the timed work, and the services it connects to, all in one install on your server. Press play to follow the parts, or pick a scenario to see what Zephyr does on its own.
Customers read the website, buy in the shop and come back to the portal for invoices and tickets. Your staff work in the admin. All three are part of one install.
Every app talks to the same API, and so can your scripts and your own AI assistant. Webhooks tell your other systems what happened; plugins connect what you use.
Renewal invoices before the period ends, reminders on the days you set, suspension and cancellation, provisioning with retries, outgoing mail and reports, all from the queue on your own server.
The gateway takes the payment; the worker sets the account up in your panel and registers the domain the moment the invoice is paid, and sends the invoice through your own mail server.
Standby pairs by pasting one code, and its alerts show in your admin. The only things that talk to lbreeze are the licence check and signed updates, applied without downtime.
Every part, explained (15)
- Your customers (shop, pay, raise tickets)
- They read your website, buy in the shop, and manage invoices, services, licences and tickets in the customer portal, in your brand.
- Your staff (no fee per seat)
- Everyone on your team works in the admin, with permissions by role, two-factor or single sign-on, and an audit log of what they did.
- Your AI assistant (within its permissions)
- Connect your own AI assistant to the admin. It can only do what the person who connected it may do, and every change it makes is logged.
- Licence and updates (updates.lbreeze.com)
- The only thing that talks to lbreeze: the licence check and signed updates, applied without downtime. No customer data leaves your server.
- Database and queue (on your server)
- Customers, invoices, the double-entry ledger and every job live on your own server. Updates migrate it for you.
- Website (pages, shop, blog, help)
- The public site: pages in a block builder, the shop and checkout, blog, changelog, help centre and legal pages, with themes and templates.
- Customer portal (invoices, services, tickets)
- Where customers find their invoices, pay, manage services and licences, and talk to support.
- Admin (the whole business)
- Catalogue, orders, invoices, finance, hosting, support, marketing, reports, people and settings, in one admin.
- API (one API for all three)
- Every app uses the same API, and so can your own scripts, with webhooks for what happens and plugins for what you connect.
- Worker (renewals, reminders, jobs)
- The timed and queued work: renewal invoices ahead of the period, reminders, suspension and cancellation, provisioning jobs with retries, mail sending and reports.
- Payment gateway (card, PayPal, Mollie)
- Payments are taken through the gateway you connect, and recorded against the invoice straight away.
- Your hosting panel (KStack, cPanel, Plesk…)
- For a hosting company: the account is created, suspended or cancelled in KStack, cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin through its API, with nobody typing anything in.
- Domain registrar (register, renew, transfer)
- Domains registered, renewed and transferred through the registrar you connect, with TLD pricing in your catalogue.
- Your mail server (invoices, replies)
- Every invoice, reminder and ticket reply goes out through your own mail server, and inbound mail is threaded onto the right ticket.
- Standby (pairs with one code)
- Pair Standby and your alerts, customers and servers show in both places.
Invoices your accountant will accept
- Invoices that hold up. Numbered without gaps, VAT shown for every rate, PDF invoices, credit notes and refund requests.
- VAT and currencies. VAT decided for each customer, EU VAT numbers checked live, invoices in more than one currency with stored exchange rates.
- Subscriptions and one-offs. Renewals raised ahead of the period, upgrades part-way through, partial payments, refunds and discount codes.
- Your books, kept. A ledger, banking with statement import, supplier costs, payment runs, payroll and procurement, with exports for your accountant.
Built for the people who run it
- Staff security. Permissions by role, two-factor sign-in, single sign-on, and staff accounts kept in step with SCIM.
- A record of who did what. An audit log that shows if anyone has altered it, an evidence pack ready for audits, a DSAR register and fraud review.
- Your own integrations. An API, webhooks and plugins, so your other systems hear about what happens as it happens; Standby pairs by pasting one code; KStack connects with its address and an API token.
- Work with your AI assistant. Connect your own AI assistant to the admin. It can only do what the person who connected it is allowed to do, and every change it makes is logged.
- Moving from WHMCS or HostBill. An importer that reads your old system, rehearses the move as a dry run as often as you like, keeps your old invoice numbers, prefixed WHMCS- or HB-, and can be reversed.

Frequently asked questions
What does it run on?
Your own Linux server. One installer sets everything up, and updates arrive signed through your licence.
What is the difference between the editions?
Commerce is the website, shop, billing, finance and support desk, for any business that sells online. Hosting Provider adds provisioning, servers, domains and the WHMCS and HostBill importer, for a hosting company.
Does customer data leave my server?
Only what you send to services you connect, such as your payment gateway or an AI provider. Zephyr itself talks to us only for its licence check and updates.
Can I move from WHMCS or HostBill?
Yes. The importer reads your database or a dump, runs as a dry run first as often as you like, keeps your old invoice and client numbers, prefixed WHMCS- or HB-, and can be reversed. Passwords cannot move between systems, so customers set a new one.
What happens if my licence lapses?
Zephyr keeps billing and supporting your existing customers, but takes no new orders and receives no updates until it is renewed.
