Colocation is rack space, power, cooling and a network connection for machines you already own. The hardware stays yours. Everything around it becomes ours to look after. We are arranging space in partner facilities now, and it is not something you can order yet.

Colocation splits the responsibility further down than any other kind of hosting, so it is worth being plain about which side of the line each part falls on.
Yours: the hardware
The machines, the disks in them, the warranties and the spares. A failed part is yours to own, even when it is our hands that swap it.
Yours: the operating system
Everything running on the box, exactly as it is today. We do not log into it and we do not patch it.
Ours: space, power and cooling
The rack, the feed into it and the environment around it. The unglamorous parts that are ruinous to get wrong and invisible when they are right.
Ours: the connection, and the hands
The uplink out of the rack, and somebody on site who can reboot, recable or swap a disk when you cannot be there. How much of each you need is part of what we agree.

Six answers make an enquiry useful.
You do not need all six to get in touch. But these are what a quote is built from, and the first three are what decide it.
How much space
Rack units, or whole racks. A single number of U is enough to start the conversation, and it tells us immediately which kind of arrangement you are asking about.
How much power
The draw per rack, in amps or kilowatts, and whether it has to be fed from two independent supplies. Power is usually what decides the cost, more than the floor space does.
How much bandwidth
What the kit moves, whether you want a committed rate or to be billed on what you use, and the port speed the hardware expects to find.
Addressing
How much IPv4 you need, whether you are bringing your own range, and whether you intend to run BGP with your own AS number.
Remote hands
How often you expect to need somebody on site, and what you would ask them to do. A rack nobody visits and a rack worked on weekly are different agreements.
Access
Who needs to be able to walk in, how much notice they can give, and whether anyone needs to get in without being escorted.

We are not naming facilities yet.
We would rather publish nothing than publish a partner we have not signed. When space is contracted and we can stand behind naming the operator and the site, they will be listed here with the details that actually matter. Until then, tell us where you need to be and we will tell you honestly what we can reach.

Nothing on this page claims a location, a certification or a service level, because none of those is ours to claim yet. If your requirement depends on a specific one, put it in your enquiry — it is the fastest way to find out whether we can serve you at all.

How much space, how much power, how much bandwidth and roughly where it needs to be. Those four turn a question into something we can price.
Against the facilities we are arranging. Where we cannot serve a location we will tell you that, rather than keep you waiting on a maybe.
Space, power, connectivity, remote hands and the terms, itemised. Nothing is committed and nothing is billed until you have agreed to it.
When the hardware arrives, how it gets there, and whether it needs unpacking and racking or turns up ready to slide in. Worth settling before it is on a lorry.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order colocation today?
No. Nothing on this page is orderable yet. Registering interest tells us what to arrange first, and gets you told when there is something to buy.
Which data centres do you use?
We are not naming any until an arrangement is signed. Naming a partner we have not contracted would be a claim we cannot stand behind. Tell us where you need to be and we will tell you what we can reach.
What will it cost?
We are not publishing a price we have not set. Cost is driven by space, power and bandwidth, and in practice power is usually the number that decides it rather than the floor space.
Can I bring my own IP range and run BGP?
Put it in the enquiry. It is one of the six things we ask about, because it changes what a site needs to be able to offer you and is much better known up front than discovered later.
Do I have to buy the hardware from you?
No — the point of colocation is that the hardware is already yours. If you would rather we supplied and owned the machine, that is a dedicated server instead, and it is a different page and a different conversation.
What if I only have one server, not a rack?
Tell us how many U it is. A few units and a full rack are genuinely different arrangements, and knowing which one you are asking about is the single most useful thing in an opening email.
Who will be allowed into the building?
Access rules belong to the facility rather than to us, so that is something we will confirm per site once we are naming them. If you need unescorted access, or access at short notice, say so early — it can rule sites in or out.
Would you rather we supplied the machine?
A dedicated server is bare metal we own, build to your specification and look after — no hardware to buy, ship or replace.
