Download your data or delete your account

Get a copy of the personal data lbreeze holds about you, or close your account and have your personal data removed.

You can download everything lbreeze holds about your account, or delete the account, from your client area. Both are under Data & privacy in the menu. Only the account holder sees this page.

Download your data

  1. In your client area, select Data & privacy.
  2. Under Download my data, select Request export.

The file usually takes a few minutes to prepare. We email you when it is ready, and a Download link appears in the list on the same page. The download works while you are signed in, for 7 days.

The file covers your profile, addresses, orders, invoices, payments, services, domains, support tickets, chats and sign-in history.

If a request still says it is preparing after an hour, the page says it is taking longer than expected. Contact support and quote the time of the request. If a request fails, request a new export.

Before you delete your account

Deleting your account cannot be undone, and afterwards you cannot sign in. Before you start:

  • Download your data, as above, if you want a copy.
  • Cancel the services you no longer need. See Cancel a service.
  • Take a copy of your website files, databases and email from your control panel.
  • Pay anything you still owe.

Delete your account

  1. In your client area, select Data & privacy.
  2. Under Delete my account, select Delete my account….
  3. Type DELETE in the Confirmation box.
  4. Enter Your password. If you sign in without a password, leave it empty; you may be asked to sign in again first.
  5. Select Delete permanently.

You are signed out everywhere and returned to the sign-in page.

What deleting does

  • Your personal details are removed or anonymised: your name, email address, phone number, addresses and similar details.
  • Every subscription stops renewing, and automatic payments are switched off.
  • Your saved cards are removed, so nothing can be charged to them.

What is kept

lbreeze keeps what the law requires or allows:

  • invoices and tax records;
  • what you agreed to or signed, and when;
  • your conversations with support, with your name, email address and phone number taken out of them.
